GeForce NOW Brings Intense Horror with ‘Resident Evil Village
This week, three new games are coming to the cloud, and an update will enhance image quality for Ultimate members on all devices.
A new app update improves visuals for members and introduces new options for organizing their GeForce NOW game libraries.
Set in a spooky European village filled with mutant creatures, the game features intriguing characters like the mysterious Lady Dimitrescu, who roams her dark castle. You’ll battle against monstrous villagers and horrifying beings.
The game combines classic survival-horror elements like managing resources and exploring with action-packed combat and large groups of enemies.
Ultimate and Priority members can enjoy the game’s dark world with stunning detail, thanks to ray tracing and HDR for realistic shadows and sharp visuals. Stream the game from NVIDIA GeForce RTX-powered servers in the cloud and try the Resident Evil Village demo before facing Lady Dimitrescu in the full game.
ee the Difference with the Latest Update
This feature enhances image quality on Windows, macOS, and NVIDIA SHIELD TV by improving color accuracy and detail. You’ll notice better color gradients in scenes with rich color transitions, like vibrant skies or dark interiors. Even on non-HDR displays and games that don’t support HDR, this update makes colors look more vivid. You can adjust this setting in the GeForce NOW app under Streaming Quality > Color Precision, with 10-bit as the recommended default.
Try it out while exploring the neon streets of Cyberpunk 2077 for smoother color changes, or while roaming the diverse landscapes of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for a richer streaming experience. The update also includes bug fixes and new options for organizing your in-app game library. For more details, check out the NVIDIA Knowledgebase.
